Biographie de Philip Catherine
Philip Catherine est un des meilleurs guitaristes de jazz en Europe. A 68 ans, il continue inlassablement à explorer de nouveaux horizons. Catherine a un son très particulier. On entend clairement l'influence de Django Reinhardt dans la sensualité de sa sonorité et dans la mélodie mais il a aussi incorporé des éléments de jazz contemporain dans sa musique. Il a écrit de merveilleuses compositions et a créé avec son quartet un univers musical captivant.
